OM Master Blend Mushroom powder is what we add to our super coffee in the mornings (more on that here.) It has a nutty taste, typical of most mushroom powders.
Lee & I love trying new things and supporting local small businesses, so OM Master Blend is a natural fit. All their products are grown and harvested in their indoor farm by mycology experts in Carlsbad, California (right up the road!)
Before I found OM I was buying a bunch of different types of mushroom powders and blending 'em; that was a pain in the butt. This makes my coffee ritual in the morning easy, fast, delicious, and mushroomed up! Here's what the OM folks have to say about what's in 'em:

First things first: We ain't mycologists, but we do dig fungi. My personal fave is when Lee fries fresh mushrooms in rendered pig fat. Yum.
When morels are in season we gobble 'em up, and my cousin Meri is probably Vermont's best mushroom hunter.
Still, mushrooms for us aren't always convenient and easy, which is why we use this mushroom powder. If Paul Stamets was my number one homie and sent me bags of freshies I probably wouldn't worry about powders, but this is easily the next best thing.
Enjoy!
Add Ons are extra goodies to put in your box, usually paleo snacks but sometimes other supplements that we’ve found in our travels. They’re not Paleo Treats and sometimes they’re not strictly Paleo (some of them use maple syrup to sweeten, or coconut sugar). They’re all delicious and an excellent addition to your paleo food basket. They’re all either custom made for us, or they’re local brands we love.
This is a great way to get a taste of San Diego and support a couple of small businesses while eating clean & healthy.
Our goal is to find the cleanest ingredients where the products still taste really good, then make ‘em available to you. We add to and change what’s in this collection regularly, so keep an eye out for new offerings and if you see something you like don’t let it slip away!
Enjoy all the goodness!
