  • Ok, so you're looking for a can of chilly cold brew coffee and the "nitro" caught your eye, right?  Or maybe it was the MCT Oil.  Let's go through what this is.  First, what the heck is nitro cold brew?

Nitro cold brew is simple:  It's cold coffee infused with nitrogen gas to give it a super smooth and creamy head, just like that Guinness.  Mmm, Guinness.

How do the folks at Trident Coffee make a nitro cold brew?  First, they brew directly sourced, single-estate Brazilian speciality coffee from Carmo de Minas to a full-city roast.  Yep, that's dark 'n delicious.   They chose that bean and roast combo to accentuate the low-acidity, bold chocolate and caramel flavors, and smooth, summery finish you want in an ice cold-brew coffee.

You could make cold brew at home, but...why bother?  You'll need nitrogen tanks and a whole bottling/canning system to get going. By the time you order that on Amazon and set it all up, we could have delivered cases of this coffee to you in San Diego and with all that caffeine you could've built 6 houses.

Ok, what about the MCT oil?  MCT, or "Medium Chain Triglyceride" oil has been shown to have numerous health benefits including: reduced appetite, improved mental cognition, increased energyand improved athletic performance.  It's basically the healthiest parts of coconut oil without the coconut flavor.

How much caffeine is in one of these cans?  About 240 mg, which is a little more than two and half shots of espresso.  These ain't for those of you looking for decaf, these are coffee lovers looking to fire up the caffeine rock 'n roll experience.
