Giveaway Requirements & Guidelines

Let's do a giveaway!

We're super excited to have you share Paleo Treats with your tribe.  There are a few things you'll need to know before running a giveaway with us.

We recommend you bookmark this page so you can find it later when you need images.  :)

Paleo Treats will only provide a prize to a single winner; we are unable to make multiple shipments to different prize winners. 

Giveaways represent an opportunity to all 3 entities involved:  The Entrant, the Organizer, and the Prize Provider.  The Entrant trades information for a chance to win product.  The Organizer coordinates & collates that information, receiving recognition from the general public for being able to "deliver the goods."  The Prize Provider trades product for coverage and information.

With that in mind, Paleo Treats requires at least 3 of the following options to be met in order to participate in a giveaway.

GIVEAWAY REQUIREMENTS, PICK ANY 3

• Entrants must like us on at least one of the following three channels:  Instagram & Twitter (@paleotreats) or Facebook (@paleotreatsfan)
• Organizer will provide all emails collected as part of the giveaway, following all rules letting Entrants know they will be added to our list and that they opt in to that agreement.
• Organizer agrees to at least 5 "shout outs" on social channels (Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook) over the course of a 2 month period that may start anytime within 30 days of the Giveaway.  These are brand specific and should not include other related companies in the post.
• Organizer agrees to send out an email to their list (20k minimum) that is solely about Paleo Treats; does not have to be in connection with the Giveaway.
• Organizer provides a written review on their blog according to these guidelines.

THE REGISTERED TRADEMARK

1. "Paleo Treats" is a registered trademark and must be followed with the ® symbol at the first use in any page.  Doesn't need to be on all of 'em, just the first use.  To make this symbol:

• On a Mac, just use Option+R. 
• On a Windows system make sure the "Num Lock" is on, then hold down the "Alt" key and type "0174".

We've worked really hard to build this brand, please help us protect it!

2. In addition to "paleo treats" (linked to our home page, http://www.paleotreats.com), we'd love to see the a few words & phrases used as links to specific pages on our site.  These really help the search engines understand who we are and what we offer. 

As you may know, each link you use has three important elements:  The URL it's going to (somewhere on our site), the alt text (which can be whatever you want, usually a description of where it's going) and the actual words used in the review.

Here's the HTML code to do that for each term.  In the ALT text please feel free to use your own words to describe 'em:

You may use any of the images on our store or anything below for your Giveaway.  Please do NOT just pull any old images off the web or a Google search; our brand is very important to us and we aim to keep it as current as possible.  Of course, you may also use any of your own pictures that you take.  :)
