Birdie the Cattle Dog
...just long enough for *my* cattle dog, Birdie (no ownership is currently being claimed by Lee), to sneak onto the counter, choose her favorite steak and hastily pad out to the backyard and wolf it down as fast as she could.  As a man, a steak lover, and the owner of a cattledog, I was proud.  Lee, however, was not. Eat the Yolks book review

I just finished up reading through Liz Wolfe's new book, Eat the Yolks, and really dug the straightforward writing.

eat the yolks paleo treats book review
The conversationalist tone is easy to read and is balanced with enough scientific references to keep you busy if you're a hound for paleo info.  Liz has a very practical approach to this thing we call the paleo diet; if you eat it and it works for you, you're probably on the right track.

Paleo Ice Cream: almost an impossibility

A scoop of Paleo ice cream
As you may have guessed by the title, I've been stymied in my search for Paleo ice cream. Learn to Prep: Make Ahead Paleo book review

Make Ahead Paleo
One of the biggest problems with Paleo for many people is that it takes so much time to eat healthy. Sure, you can duck and dodge that with a few quick 'n easy recipes, but at the end of the day, yes, making healthy (paleo) food does take more time than going through the drive through at MacDonalds.  How do you get around that?
