Cookbook alert: Paleo Comfort Foods: Homestyle Cooking for a Gluten Free kitchen

Folks, we're big fans of the Paleo cooking explosion, and "Paleo Comfort Foods: Homestyle Cooking for a Gluten Free Kitchen" is definitely a part of that massive growth!  This couple has really put it together, if you're looking for a ton of really good (mostly) paleo recipes then take a close look inside and see where you can treat yourself.

Written by Julie & Charles Mayfield, these two are serious about eating well while eating Paleo and gluten free. While we don't totally agree with all the ingredients (they're OK with ghee, for example. You can read more about our take on paleo ingredients here), these recipes are still pretty damn good looking, and with an endorsement by Robb Wolf it's hard to go wrong.

Going along with the general trend of mouth watering photography this book isn't the old Joy of Cooking with a few hand drawn sketches (although I love that book and I defy anyone to make chocolate chip cookies as good as the JoC recipe using Paleo-only ingredients.)

Julie & Charles totally took the time to nail the pics, and you can get your food porn rocks off just flipping through the pages, never mind what happens when you actually make it and deliver it to your tongue and the taste explosions begin.

Damn, the only thing better than food when you're hungry is hot water when you're cold.  In any event, we recommend picking up a copy to enjoy the stoke and Paleo knowledge these two are sharing.
